About Camp Wonderkin
We love inspiring kids to follow their passions. We've been doing it for as long as we can remember. And we believe the best inspiration lies in the natural world. Nature is curious and beautiful. She's a risk taker, a mindfulness practice and a science experiment. She's calm, invigorating and full of love. And best of all, nature is all around us, just waiting to be explored.

Everything we do is centered around our amazing planet. Whether it's a study in science, art, literature or magic, it can all be discovered in the great outdoors.
Our Philosophy
We believe life and learning are about the process, not the end result. At Camp Wonderkin learning happens through exploration, example and environment. Projects are child led and process based allowing children to explore their own ideas and envision the possibilities. Children are encouraged to experiment and discover in ways that will help them become confident and creative thinkers.
Cate Liguori
Cate Liguori earned her BA in marketing. She worked as a buyer in the fashion industry for seven years where she greatly expanded her passion for art and design. When her first child was born she left her job to focus on motherhood. As a creative spirit Cate was always offering her young children process based art experiences. It was especially inspiring to Cate when her eldest daughter showed a great interest in science from an early age.
Cate began finding creative ways to incorporate art and science exploration into her family’s everyday life and thus Camp Wonderkin was born. Camp Wonderkin, a summer camp and mobile process based STEAM lab offers classes, workshops and birthday parties for all ages. Cate found her true calling working with children and is forever committed to guiding young ones in the wonder of learning.
Cate also holds yoga and pilates certifications and is passionate about encouraging mindfulness in children. She has over 20 years of experience in the equine world training and teaching young horses and riders and is forever furthering her learning of the natural world around her. She is a mother of two children and a lover of family dance parties, exploring new places, an adventurous trail run and anything topped with maple syrup.
